Pharmacy Course

To impart scientific knowledge for identification, formulation, preparation, standardization, quality control/quality assurance and proper uses of drugs and medicines and to stimulate skill for effective management of drugs and medicines in respect of their manufacture, quality control, marketing, storage, sales and distribution.

To produce skilled manpower for providing services to the pharmaceutical industries, hospital pharmacies, clinical pharmacies, community pharmacies, Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) and other institutions and organizations engaged in drug research, marketing, sales, distribution and administration.

To encourage research in different fields of Pharmacy for the development of new drugs and also of new technologies and techniques for formulation, quality control and standardization of drugs and drug products.
