Dean’s Message

Welcome to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at Hamdard University Bangladesh.

The Faculty currently comprises three vibrant departments — English, Economics, and Islamic Studies — with a dedicated team of ten faculty members ranging from Professors to Lecturers. In the near future, we plan to expand by introducing new departments such as Bangla, Law, and Education, reflecting our commitment to academic growth and diversity.

At FASS, we place the highest value on academic excellence. We foster a culture of quality teaching, innovative learning, and impactful research. While we maintain rigorous academic standards and practices, we also aspire to extend our influence beyond the university — to shape ideas, inspire change, and contribute meaningfully to society.
