On February 26, 2023, the Department of English of Hamdard University Bangladesh organized a discussion meeting and cultural program to celebrate the Arrival of Spring, Fresher’s Reception, and Farewell to the graduating students. The Chief Guest of the program was the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Dr. Faruque-Uz-Zaman Chowdhury, and the special guest was the University's Advisor, Professor Dr. Mohammed Amanullah. The program was chaired by the Head of the Department of English, Dr. Abul Kalam Azad. In the program Treasurer of the University, Professor Dr. Abul Khair, Controller of Examinations Md. Nurul Huda and Dean, Science, Engineering and Technology Professor Dr. Mir Mohammad Azad were present. Furthermore, Teachers of the Department of English, freshers and outgoing students were present at the program.
